Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly and provide excellent customer service by greeting, seating, and escorting them to their tables in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage reservations efficiently, ensuring smooth flow of guests, and accommodate special seating requests whenever possible.
- Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure a seamless dining experience by communicating seating arrangements, table assignments, and any specific customer needs.
- Monitor dining room activities, keeping track of occupied tables and guest turnover to maintain the flow of service.
- Maintain cleanliness in the reception and dining areas, ensuring that all tables are properly set and ready for incoming guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly, providing solutions and escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Assist in managing waitlists, providing accurate wait time estimates, and ensuring guests are comfortable while waiting.
- Communicate specials and promotions to guests while guiding them through the menu if needed.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to optimize guest satisfaction, ensuring that all guests leave with a positive experience.
- Support multi-branch restaurant operations, ensuring a high standard of service across locations when needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a hostess or in a similar role in a multi-branch restaurant.
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English, and the ability to interact with guests professionally and courteously.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a warm and engaging personality.
- Ability to multi-task and manage high guest volumes efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle busy periods calmly and professionally.
- Problem-solving abilities to address guest issues or complaints effectively.
- A team player who collaborates well with staff and management to provide a seamless dining experience.
