Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff promptly.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to restaurant standards.
- Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and well-maintained during service.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide menu recommendations, and address any concerns professionally.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and special dietary options.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash or card transactions.
- Assist with restocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in hospitality or customer service.
- Pleasing personality and excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- A love for cats is a plus, though not mandatory.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
