Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of patient meals with a focus on delivering 5-star dining experiences.
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation for European, Asian, and Arabic cuisines.
- Ensure the highest quality of food preparation, cooking, and presentation in line with industry standards and trends.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to HACCP and food safety standards.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to kitchen protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage kitchen budgets effectively.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create innovative dishes and improve existing recipes.
- Handle customer feedback and make necessary adjustments to meet dietary needs and preferences.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Stay updated with the latest culinary trends and continuously enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in Culinary Arts or a related field of study.
- Proven experience in preparing patient meals in a 5-star dining environment.
- Extensive knowledge of European, Asian, and Arabic cuisines and the latest food industry trends.
- Preferably with GCC experience.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and possession of Food Safety Certifications.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
