Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all HVAC systems, including Chillers, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), and Precision Air-Conditioning units.
• Ensure compliance with local and international Fire Safety Standards (QCDD, NFPA) in all mechanical and fire system installations, including sprinklers, hose reels, detection systems, and FM200 systems.
• Design, evaluate, and optimize pumping, pressurization, and heat exchange systems to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
• Manage the installation, testing, and maintenance of plumbing and water systems such as water filtration, water tanks, grease recovery, and calorifiers.
• Lead the HVAC team and coordinate with contractors to maintain high performance and timely completion of maintenance and repair tasks.
• Prepare and submit detailed technical reports, including cost-benefit analyses, technical evaluations, and recommendations for system improvements.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring milestones are achieved on time.
• Conduct regular site audits to ensure safety compliance and quality of work.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for HVAC and mechanical systems, optimizing energy efficiency and reducing downtime.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing systems, particularly in large-scale or stadium facilities.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in operating and maintaining systems such as compressors, dryers, vacuum pumps, chillers, and fire safety equipment.
• Certifications: Working knowledge of ASHRAE, BSI, UL, and ANSI standards is preferred.
• Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, PRO-E, and MS Office.
• Communication Skills: Excellent report writing skills; fluency in spoken and written English.
• Personal Attributes: Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Salary : 💵 10,000 – 14,000 QAR 💵
