Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and install rigging systems for live events, including concerts, exhibitions, and other large-scale productions.
• Climb, rappel, and work at heights to properly secure rigging and ensure safety.
• Operate chain motors, trusses, slings, hooks, and wire rope, ensuring proper load limits and safety factors.
• Perform regular checks and maintenance of rigging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Troubleshoot rigging systems and identify any potential issues before and during live events.
• Install and maintain automated rigging systems, including Kinesys and MoveCat hoists, ensuring smooth operation during events.
• Collaborate with event production teams to plan and execute rigging setups.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards during installation and operation of all rigging equipment.
• Operate and maintain scissor lifts, power tools, and other access/lifting equipment as required for installations.
• Conduct load calculations to ensure rigging setups are safe and within permissible load limits.
• Assist in post-event teardown and ensure equipment is stored properly.
• Maintain accurate records of rigging setups and maintenance schedules for future reference.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience as a Rigger Technician, specifically in live events.
• Comfortable working at heights, with experience in climbing and rappelling.
• Strong understanding of rigging principles, including safety factors, load limits, and various rigging systems.
• Experience with electric chain hoists and their electrical components.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of rigging and lifting equipment.
• Previous experience with automated rigging systems, such as Kinesys or MoveCat hoists, is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of scissor lifts, power tools, and other lifting/access equipment.
• Excellent understanding of safe working loads and safety protocols for live events.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly in live event settings.
• Preferred Filipino Nationality

Salary : 💵 6,000 QAR 💵(94,800PHP)
