Key responsibilities:

• Perform pipe welding operations in workshop and on-board vessels according to project requirements.
• Ensure welding quality and compliance with yard safety and international standards.
• Work with GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) and ER 705 equivalent consumables in 6G/6GR positions.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures to meet specifications.
• Conduct pre-welding preparations, including material selection, measurements, and cutting.
• Inspect welded joints to ensure structural integrity and compliance with IACS (International Association of Classification Societies) standards.
• Follow ISO, HSE, and company safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Operate various welding tools and equipment efficiently.
• Assist in repair and maintenance of pipe systems in shipyard and industrial settings.
• Work within budgeted timeframes and allocated man-hours to meet project targets.

Qualifications & requirements:

• Secondary education with a recognized welding qualification.
• Certification in GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) with 6G/6GR position.
• Knowledge of IACS (International Association of Classification Societies) welding standards.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in shipyard, offshore, oil & gas, or petrochemical industry.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments and meet project deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and welding quality control.
• Age below 40 years old preferred.
