Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Baker to join our growing culinary team in Qatar. The ideal candidate should be passionate about baking, detail-oriented, and capable of producing high-quality desserts with consistency and creativity. This position is open for Filipino male candidates who are available for overseas deployment.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries and desserts, including carrot cake, red velvet, cheesecake, brownies, and cupcakes.
- Ensure all baked goods meet high standards of taste, texture, and presentation.
- Follow recipes and design specifications with excellent attention to detail.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workstation in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Operate baking equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of baked goods.
- Monitor inventory of ingredients and supplies, and communicate needs for restocking.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a pastry baker or cake chef in a professional kitchen or bakery.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and dessert preparation.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to replicate designs accurately.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be of Filipino nationality (male).
- Must be willing to relocate to Qatar and available for overseas hiring.
