Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, compressors, motors, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and implement repair solutions to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure proper installation and maintenance.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to conduct repairs and adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to optimize equipment efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Conduct routine testing and calibration of mechanical components and systems.
- Assist in the procurement and inventory management of mechanical spare parts and tools.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certification or associate degree in mechanical technology or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in an industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance setting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a mechanical environment.
