Key responsibilities:
- Create and decorate custom cakes for a variety of events, including weddings, birthdays, corporate functions, and other special occasions
- Specialize in decorating using fondant, buttercream, and other advanced cake decorating techniques
- Design visually appealing and unique cake concepts based on customer preferences, event themes, and trending styles
- Collaborate with the bakery and pastry team to ensure timely preparation and decoration of orders
- Ensure all cake decorations are executed with a high standard of quality, precision, and creativity
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cake decorating area, tools, and supplies
- Handle customer consultations, provide professional advice on cake styles, sizes, and flavors
- Keep up with industry trends and bring in new ideas to continuously enhance cake offerings
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Manage multiple orders and deadlines efficiently while maintaining excellent product quality
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cake decorating, preferably in a high-end bakery or event-based cake production
- Proven expertise in event cakes, particularly wedding cakes, birthday cakes, and custom celebration cakes
- Strong skills in working with fondant, buttercream, piping, and other advanced cake decorating mediums
- Portfolio of previous decorated cakes is a plus
- Must be 35 years old or below
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creative presentation
- Strong time management and ability to work under pressure during busy periods
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Locally available in Qatar with valid NOC preferred
- Nationality: Any nationality
