Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a wide range of breads, with a strong focus on croissants, baguettes, and artisan loaves
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and appearance of baked products
- Create various cakes and pastries, following standard recipes and customer specifications
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment including mixers, ovens, and proofers
- Monitor ingredients, manage stock levels, and ensure FIFO practices for freshness
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery area according to food safety standards
- Follow daily production schedules and meet order deadlines efficiently
- Assist in developing new recipes and seasonal bakery items when needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and timely delivery of baked items
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of proven baking experience, preferably in a commercial or hotel bakery
- Specialized skills in bread-making, especially croissants and artisanal breads
- Ability to create and decorate a variety of cakes and pastries
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen safety standards
- Capable of working early morning shifts and in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for baking and attention to detail
- Must be locally available in Qatar with valid documents (NOC preferred)
- 35 years old or below is preferred
- Nationality: Any nationality
