Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up LED equipment such as LED screens, video walls, touch screen tables, TVs, and other event gear for exhibitions, events, and conferences.
- Install and configure LED video processors, ensuring proper functionality and smooth operations during events, using tools like Novastar or similar software.
- Handle equipment testing and perform on-site troubleshooting to resolve any issues with LED displays, video processors, and power management systems.
- Collaborate with the site team to ensure seamless electrical connections, proper cabling, and efficient power load management for event setups.
- Monitor LED screen operations during live events, ensuring video quality, performance, and synchronization with other event technologies.
- Operate and manage event equipment, including TVs, touch screens, and other interactive technology, while providing a user-friendly experience for attendees.
- Work closely with clients and event coordinators to address any technical concerns, ensuring client satisfaction and smooth event execution.
- Maintain and service LED equipment, conducting regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs as needed.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians on equipment usage, configurations, and best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest LED technology advancements, software updates, and innovations in the event production industry.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in the event production industry, specifically in LED screen setup, installation, and video wall configuration.
- Proficiency in Novastar or similar video processors for LED screen configuration and testing.
- Hands-on experience in LED electrical connections, power load management, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of event technology, including touch panels, TVs, and video display systems.
- Customer service experience is a plus, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Practical experience working in live events, exhibitions, and conferences, managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot on-site technical issues and provide quick solutions.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced event environment.
