Key responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging food trends and high-demand product opportunities
- Source reliable local and international suppliers for food products
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including cost negotiation, supplier evaluation, and contract finalization
- Coordinate import/export logistics, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency
- Oversee product registration with relevant Qatar authorities for legal compliance
- Develop and implement brand strategies for new product launches
- Execute marketing campaigns in hypermarkets and e-commerce platforms
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and channel partners
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust sourcing or branding strategies accordingly
- Prepare regular reports on product performance, supplier KPIs, and market feedback
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, procurement, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product sourcing, procurement, international trade, and brand development (preferably in the food industry)
- Strong knowledge of import/export documentation, supplier negotiation, and logistics management
- Proven experience in brand positioning, product marketing, and launch execution
- Familiarity with regulatory processes for food importation in Qatar
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and supply chain management software
