Key responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates for fire alarm, fire fighting, and life safety systems as per NFPA, QCDD, and local regulations
- Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to understand technical requirements
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to gather competitive pricing and technical information
- Draft and submit technical and commercial proposals within the defined deadlines
- Collaborate with sales and design teams to develop accurate and competitive quotations
- Conduct site visits if necessary to understand project scope and feasibility
- Support in value engineering and cost optimization solutions
- Stay updated with current market prices, regulatory guidelines, and industry trends
Requirements:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- 1–2 years of experience in estimation, specifically in the fire & safety sector
- Good understanding of fire alarm, fire fighting, and emergency lighting systems
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and QCDD regulations is essential
- Prior experience in Qatar is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Must be available in Qatar and ready to join immediately
