Key responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits and inventory of IT assets to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track IT asset usage, inventory, and compliance.
- Analyze and resolve IT asset-related issues and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with IT teams, procurement, and finance departments to ensure accurate asset tracking and management.
- Implement and improve processes and procedures for IT asset management.
- Maintain a centralized IT asset database, ensuring accurate records of hardware, software, and licensing.
- Work closely with vendors and procurement teams for IT asset purchasing, renewals, and disposals.
- Provide training and support to IT staff on best practices in IT asset management.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in IT asset and service management.
- Ensure compliance with software licensing models and maintain an understanding of vendor agreements.
- Assist in IT service operations support, service quality management, and customer service improvements.
Qualifications & requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT asset management, inventory control, and compliance auditing.
- Experience in IT service desk operations and IT service management (ITSM) practices.
- Well-versed in industry standards such as ITIL, ISO 20000, and best practices in IT asset and configuration management.
- ITIL Foundation Certification or Certification in IT Asset Management (CITAM) is preferred.
- Proficiency in asset management tools, ITSM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
