Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Service Level Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management.
- Develop and implement IT service strategies, policies, and procedures to align with business objectives.
- Oversee the IT service desk and technical support teams, ensuring efficient incident resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze service performance metrics, ensuring compliance with SLAs and continuous service improvement.
- Drive automation and optimization of IT service management workflows for enhanced efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 20000, ITIL, and information security standards.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of ITSM tools and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance IT operations and drive IT governance initiatives.
- Manage IT risk, compliance, and security policies, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.
- Provide leadership in IT change management to minimize service disruptions and enhance system stability.
- Oversee IT asset and configuration management, ensuring accurate documentation and system tracking.
- Develop and mentor IT teams, ensuring skill enhancement and professional growth.
- Handle vendor and stakeholder management, ensuring effective IT service delivery and partnerships.
Qualifications & requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 12+ years of relevant IT experience, with at least 3-6 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in Service Level Management (SLM), Change Management, and Configuration Management in large-scale organizations.
- Well-versed in IT service management best practices, information security, and project management.
- ITIL Service Manager, ITIL Expert, or ISO 20000 certification is highly preferred.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred but not mandatory.
