Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy Development: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization’s long-term goals and mission.
• Fundraising & Investment Management: Oversee fundraising efforts, including securing equity, debt, and other investment opportunities, while managing complex financial structures.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Financial Operations Oversight: Manage day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow, financial reporting, and compliance with international financial regulations.
• Leadership & Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
• Global Financial Management: Oversee financial operations across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with international and local financial regulations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison between the finance department and other internal and external stakeholders, including investors and board members.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the organization’s financial health and sustainability.
• System Implementation: Develop and implement scalable financial systems, processes, and controls to support growth and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • MBA or CPA/CA certification is preferred.
• Experience:
  • 10-15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in startup or high-growth environments.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of banking, debt, equity, and investment management.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, reporting, and analytics tools.
  • Deep understanding of international financial regulations and compliance.
• Skills:
  • Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to build and scale financial systems and processes.
