Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
• Plan and create menus for European, Asian, and Arabic cuisines, considering the latest food industry trends.
• Oversee daily kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to ensure timely and high-quality service.
• Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, including HACCP guidelines and food safety certifications.
• Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and monitor costs to maintain budgetary control.
• Innovate and develop new recipes, enhancing the culinary offerings and maintaining the restaurant’s competitive edge.
• Handle customer feedback and make necessary adjustments to meet and exceed guest expectations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth kitchen operations and seamless service delivery.
• Stay updated with culinary trends and continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Currently working as an Executive Sous Chef with a proven track record.
• Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or a related field of study.
• Extensive knowledge of European, Asian, and Arabic cuisines, along with deep understanding of food industry trends.
• Preferably with GCC experience.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles and possession of Food Safety Certifications.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
