Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions, including eczema, acne, psoriasis, dermatitis, and skin cancers.
- Perform dermatological procedures such as biopsies, laser treatments, cryotherapy, skin surgery, and cosmetic treatments including Botox, fillers, and chemical peels.
- Provide accurate prescriptions, treatment plans, and skincare regimens customized to patients’ individual needs.
- Conduct thorough consultations, diagnose complex dermatological issues, and maintain up-to-date medical records in compliance with clinical standards.
- Educate patients on skincare practices, disease prevention, and available treatment options to promote better skin health.
- Monitor and provide follow-up care to assess treatment progress, adjust medications, and ensure patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and specialists to provide comprehensive and multidisciplinary care to patients.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dermatology through continuing education, research, and participation in medical conferences.
- Supervise and guide nursing staff, ensuring effective support during dermatological procedures and patient care.
- Evaluate and recommend dermatology equipment, tools, and skincare products for the clinic.
- Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide cosmetic consultations and procedures to meet patient needs for aesthetic skin rejuvenation and anti-aging treatments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Medical Degree (MD or MBBS) with specialization in Dermatology (Board Certification or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a practicing Dermatologist, including experience with medical and cosmetic procedures.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and treating dermatological conditions and performing advanced cosmetic procedures.
- Strong knowledge of laser treatments, chemical peels, Botox, fillers, and other aesthetic dermatology techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage patients and ensure quality care.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
- Ability to work in a team environment while maintaining independent clinical judgment.
- Current and valid license to practice dermatology in Qatar or eligibility for local licensing.
- Strong focus on patient satisfaction, care quality, and professionalism.
