Key Responsibilities:

• Provide functional setup and support for General, Admissions, Student, and Accounts Receivable Modules in BANNER9 with proper documentation.
• Set up BANNER9 application to align with Middle East higher education industry standards.
• Develop and customize BANNER9 admin and self-service interface using Banner Extensibility, Groovy/Grails, and Page Builder.
• Create and maintain database objects such as tables, views, synonyms, indexes, PL/SQL packages, triggers, and SQL scripts.
• Support technical and functional configuration, including all Banner ERP modules and touch point systems.
• Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in collaboration with database administrators, system administrators, and functional teams.
• Perform knowledge-sharing sessions, provide training, and maintain technical/functional documentation.
• Ensure role-based access control security implementation on the Banner ERP system.
• Conduct application testing after upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom Oracle applications for Banner.
• Administer Banner security by managing user access, groups, and roles.
• Create and manage vendor support and incident tickets, along with change requests for CAB approval.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver optimal solutions to clients and ensure user experience improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field.
• 7+ years of experience in BANNER9 with relevant certifications.
• Proven experience with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of higher education industry standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.
• Experience in technical and functional training.
• Ability to manage technical documentation, user guides, and system architecture improvements.
