Key responsibilities:
- Support the Chef de Partie in managing a specific section of the kitchen
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure food is delivered on time and maintains consistent quality
- Assist in the training and supervision of commis chefs and junior staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of all food products
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines
- Monitor section stock levels and assist in inventory and stock control
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and maintain team coordination
- Work under pressure during peak hours and ensure timely preparation of orders
Job requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a demi chef or commis I role
- Prior GCC experience is preferred
- Skilled in Indian, international, and healthy food preparation
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and cooking techniques
- Good communication and time management skills
- Must be locally available in Qatar with a transferable visa
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and HACCP standards
- Nationality: Indian male candidates only
Salary : 💵 2200 – 2500 QAR💵
