Key responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimations, quotations, and invoices for offshore projects.
- Assess project specifications, material costs, labor, and other expenses to ensure accurate pricing.
- Execute invoicing processes in compliance with company policies and client agreements.
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, and project management teams to ensure efficient billing operations.
- Monitor project budgets, cost variations, and financial performance.
- Validate service completion reports, job orders, and contracts before issuing invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and invoices for auditing and financial tracking.
- Conduct cost control analysis and provide recommendations for budget optimization.
- Assist in tendering, contract negotiation, and financial reporting for offshore projects.
- Ensure estimating and invoicing processes support overall revenue targets.
Qualifications & requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Alternatively, experience in onshore industrial engineering fabrication, design, and construction will be considered.
- Minimum 3+ years of continuous experience in a reputed shipyard or offshore engineering firm.
- Strong expertise in cost estimation, invoicing, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, invoicing software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of offshore construction, marine repair, and industrial fabrication processes is an advantage.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills to coordinate with internal teams and clients.
- Age below 40 years old preferred.
