Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Pastry Chef in planning and preparing a wide range of high-quality pastries and desserts.
• Specialize in crafting croissants, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
• Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to maintain culinary excellence.
• Monitor stock levels for ingredients and assist in maintaining proper inventory.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Innovate and suggest new recipes and pastry ideas to enhance the menu.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely production and delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section.
• Prepare pastry samples and display them for promotional purposes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Assistant Pastry Chef.
• Proficiency in preparing croissants and other bakery items is essential.
• Experience working in renowned restaurant or hotel chains is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of pastry techniques, baking tools, and equipment.
• A keen eye for detail, presentation, and quality.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Candidates must provide sample photos of their previous pastry work.
