Key Responsibilities:

• Develop integration frameworks and solutions using Java/Java EE, .NET, and related technologies.
• Work with integration tools and middleware such as SOA, REST APIs, SOAP, and WSDL to streamline enterprise applications.
• Implement event-driven systems, service-oriented architecture (SOA) messaging services, and custom REST APIs.
• Conduct database engineering with Oracle and SQL development to support integrations.
• Ensure secure transmissions using digital certificates and PKI (public key infrastructure).
• Evaluate and integrate third-party solutions like Ellucian Banner, Blackboard, SAP, Oracle EBS, and Azure into existing systems.
• Collaborate with vendors to identify new features and ensure seamless integration into the enterprise architecture.
• Troubleshoot, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve integration issues while minimizing the impact on existing processes.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including user guides, and deliver technical training to staff.
• Design, deploy, and test custom solutions to enhance the performance and architecture of enterprise applications.
• Communicate with software developers and engineers to address program logic issues and ensure compatibility between new and existing applications.
• Manage the integration of new applications into the existing system while meeting business requirements.
• Analyze, design, and implement customized solutions that align with business processes.
• Perform application testing after enhancements, patches, and upgrades to ensure smooth functionality.
• Provide regular status updates and maintain clear communication with stakeholders on integration projects.
• Diagnose and fix production issues by collaborating with DBAs, system designers, and analysts.
• Submit support tickets, handle change requests for CAB approval, and ensure compliance with business objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise applications integration, with a strong knowledge of Ellucian Banner, Blackboard, SAP, Oracle EBS, and other related systems.
• Expertise in Java/Java EE, .NET, Oracle, and SQL.
• Strong experience with integration frameworks and middleware technologies such as SOA, REST, SOAP, XML, FTP, WSDL, and EDA.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
