Job Summary:
The Senior Telecom Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of telecommunication systems and networks. This role oversees complex projects, ensures compliance with industry standards, and provides technical guidance to junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain telecommunication systems including voice, data, and wireless networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in telecom infrastructure, such as PBX, VoIP, fiber optic, and copper networks.
• Lead and supervise junior technicians and on-site teams during installation and maintenance projects.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure systems operate efficiently with minimal downtime.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network layouts, configurations, and service reports.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other departments for project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Recommend and implement system upgrades and improvements to enhance network performance.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, IT, or related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in telecom installation, maintenance, and support.
• Strong knowledge of telecom protocols, network infrastructure, fiber optics, VoIP, and wireless systems.
• Experience in leading teams or supervising technical projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
