Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Executive to join our Freight Forwarding, Clearance & Logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, generating new business opportunities, and managing customer relationships within the logistics and freight forwarding industry. You will work closely with clients to understand their logistics needs, offer tailored solutions, and help improve their supply chain efficiency. This role is perfect for a result driven individual with a passion for sales and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients in the freight forwarding, customs clearance, and logistics sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Generate new business through cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and following up on leads.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable business.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing excellent customer service.
  • Understand client needs and offer appropriate logistics solutions (including air, sea, and road freight, as well as customs clearance).
  • Follow up on customer inquiries and provide timely updates on shipments and delivery status.
  • Address and resolve customer issues, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, new technologies, and service offerings to provide customers with the most effective solutions.
  • Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of services.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote services and generate new leads.
  • Provide input and feedback to improve service offerings and overall sales strategy.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Track performance against sales targets and KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in freight forwarding, clearance, and logistics sales
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping (Air, Sea, Land), customs regulations, and Incoterms.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and securing new business.
  • Proven track record in sales, with experience in managing client accounts and closing deals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
