Job Summary:
The AV Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of audio-visual systems in commercial, corporate, or entertainment environments. This role ensures high-quality AV performance, provides technical support for events, and integrates AV systems with other technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, install, and configure audio-visual systems, including projectors, speakers, microphones, video walls, and control systems.
• Set up and operate AV equipment for meetings, conferences, events, and live broadcasts.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain AV hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and technical teams to deliver AV solutions that meet requirements.
• Integrate AV systems with network, lighting, and control systems as needed.
• Conduct system testing, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of AV installations, configurations, and service reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new AV technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electronics, Audio-Visual Technology, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience in AV system installation, operation, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of audio systems, video systems, control systems, and cabling standards.
• Familiarity with AV software, networked AV, and integration with IT systems.
• Good problem-solving, technical troubleshooting, and communication skills.
