Position Overview:

The Accounts Executive is responsible for supporting the accounting department with day-today financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting tasks. This role requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial data efficiently. The Accounts Executive will assist with processing transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate records.

● Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

o Process and track invoices, ensuring timely payment and proper documentation.

o Manage and reconcile vendor statements, addressing any discrepancies or issues.

o Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments.

Financial Transactions:

o Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

o Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

o Perform general ledger accounting and ensure the proper coding of all financial transactions.

Bank Reconciliation:

o Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Expense Tracking:

o Track and report on company expenses, ensuring that all expenditures are in line with company policies and budgets.

Compliance & Reporting:

o Assist in ensuring compliance with local tax laws and accounting regulations.

o Support the preparation of reports required by internal stakeholders or external

auditors.

Financial Documentation:

o Maintain organized files for all financial records and ensure that all required documents are stored and easily accessible.

o Prepare and maintain financial schedules, including depreciation, accruals, and amortization.

Month-End and Year-End Close:

o Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process.

o Prepare necessary journal entries and reports to ensure accurate financial records.

Communication:

o Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, procurement, HR) to obtain and verify financial information.

o Respond to financial inquiries from employees, vendors, or customers as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

o Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role.

o Experience with accounting software is an advantage.

Skills:

o Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.

o Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.

o Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

o Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.

o Strong written and verbal communication skills.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
