Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure aluminum profiles, sheets, glass, panels, sealants, gaskets, and related hardware to support production and construction projects.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and consistent quality.
- Coordinate with engineering, estimation, and production teams to review drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to determine accurate material requirements.
- Monitor delivery schedules and manage logistics to ensure timely material availability for projects.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent material shortages or overstocking.
- Handle supplier delivery issues, discrepancies, and quality concerns.
- Update project cost sheets and track procurement budgets.
- Prepare monthly procurement and cost-saving reports for management.
- Ensure all materials comply with project specifications, quality standards (e.g., BS, ASTM), and industry regulations.
- Maintain proper procurement documentation and records in line with company procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in procurement, preferably in aluminum, façade, construction, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of aluminum materials, accessories, and fabrication processes.
- Proven negotiation skills and experience managing supplier and vendor relationships.
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of logistics, inventory control, and cost management.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
