RIGGER – Job Description

Responsibilities:

• • Perform all rigging and lifting operations safely and according to QLTP and company standards.
• • Inspect lifting tools, slings, shackles, and rigging equipment before use.
• • Calculate load weights and select proper rigging methods.
• • Coordinate with crane operators and site supervisors during lifting activities.
• • Set up and dismantle rigging equipment as required.
• • Identify hazards and ensure safe handling of all loads.
• • Support plant operations and maintenance teams with lifting tasks.

Requirements:

• • Valid Certificate of Competence issued by QLTP or an internationally recognized body acceptable to QLTP and BCP.
• • Laminated ID card with photograph issued by an approved TPCA and accepted by BCP.
• • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Rigger.
• • Must have plant experience (industrial, oil & gas, construction, or similar).
• • Strong knowledge of rigging tools, lifting techniques, and safety procedures.
